VICTOR K. DE FONTENAY & ASSOC. was established in 1996 after Victor de Fontenay returned from four years constructing Resort Pools in Fiji. It was a follow on from his previous company Pooltechnology(AUST) which had operated since 1983 in the Design & Construction of Commercial Swimming Centres & Commercial Fountains & was based in Canberra ACT.

The experience gained in 10 years of operating Pool Shops & Construction of Domestic Swimming Pools from 1973-1983 & numerous fact finding trips to the USA & Europe & the 14 years in Commercial Swimming Pool Design & Construction Provide a broad background of experience to facilitate the requirements of Clients Commercial Swimming Pool Industry.

South Australia did not have a Commercial Swimming Pool Maintenance Service as is provided by Victor K. de Fontenay & Assoc & the company has been able to fill a void in the market place.

The company also has used the background experience of Victor de Fontenay & back in 1996, launched one of the first web sites specifically designed for providing information to the Domestic Swimming Pool Owner.

Victor de Fontenay answers up to 3000 emails a year from people all around the world on problems with their swimming pools. This is added to some 30-40mB of information downloaded each week from the sites.

The Company has also re launched the "Swimming Pool Service Technical Training Manual" & many other training materials which were originaly published by Victor K. de Fontenay in 1981.
