Sorry my tip of the Month for December is late but it has been a very busy year.
Down Under in Australia, New Zealand, Southern Africa & South America, summer is here.
In parts of Southern Australia it seems a bit later than usual but better late than never.
SAFETY FIRST:
Because summer is starting later, when it hits, many people don't have the pool ready to use. Like many other things in life, getting the pool ready for summer is put off until the first real hot day.
Make sure the equipment is operating correctly & that all electrical connections to Pump, Lights, Heater, & surrounding area are in good order.
Make sure you spend time teaching small children how to swim or have them taught before they use the pool by themselves.
Remember to supervise children at all times in the pool.
Sun Safe - Be sure to have plenty of sun screen available & make sure both children & adults use it before going out to use the pool.
